Laser Distance Sensors (Time-Of-Flight)

Optical Micrometers

optoCONTROL systems are used for measurement and monitoring tasks. The CLSK series operates using optical fibers that offer application versatility and can also be used in harsh, industrial environments. These fiber optic sensors enable a wide variety of applications, from monitoring the presence of a target object through to recognition of gaps or web-edge detection.

The optoCONTROL ThruBeam micrometers are equipped with LEDs or a laser light and are used for precision diameter, segment and gap measurements. Due to their high accuracy and measuring rate, optoCONTROL micrometers are primarily used in applications where high precision is required.

Laser Profile Sensors

Laser line sensors from Micro-Epsilon are among the highest performing profile sensors in the world with respect to accuracy and measuring rate. They detect, measure and evaluate profiles on different object surfaces. The available models are suitable for numerous industrial applications. Eddy Current

Capacitive sensors are designed for non-contact measurement of displacement, distance and position, as well as for thickness measurement. Due to their high signal stability and resolution, capacitive displacement sensors are applied in laboratories and industrial measurement tasks. In production control, for example, capacitive sensors measure film thickness and application of the adhesive. Installed in machines, they monitor displacement and tool positions.

mainSENSOR is based on an innovative measuring principle, which has been developed by Micro-Epsilon in order to combine the advantages of both inductive and magnetic sensors. Magneto-inductive sensors are frequently used as alternative to inductive sensors and proximity sensors in process automation, the packaging industry and in machine monitoring. Measuring the distance to a magnet which is fixed at the measurement object, the sensors outputs a continuous, linear output signal. As different strength magnets are applied, measuring ranges of between 20mm and 55mm can be achieved. However, in order to adapt the measuring range, it is only necessary to change the magnet.

Response times from 1ms enable to integrate them fast and easily into the processes. The vario lenses allow for stepless focusing from a measurement distance of 90mm. Smallest objects from 0.5mm can therefore be measured reliably.

Universal color sensors (Fiber)

The Fiber sensors capture color similar to the perception of the human eye (TrueColor quality) The electronics consist of a controller coupled to a wide variety of optical fibers which allow for large target distances of up to 100 mm. Only the small tip of the fiber is mounted close to the target. The LT series offers basic and advanced controllers for a variety of applications. The controllers can be programmed via a PC/Serial interface and/or push button.

Color sensors for special targets (Fixed Lens)

colorSENSOR OT are fixed lens sensors with True-Color detection. The sensor illuminates the surface with white light and captures and analyzes the reflected color values. They all share the same electronic and utilize different optics for various challenging targets. The internal illumination can be disabled by software so the y can be used on self-luminous targets as well.

LED analyzers

The colorCONTROL MFA is used for measurement of color and intensity on LEDs, displays, and colored objects. An additional benefit is the flexible positioning of the small fibers to the targets. By utilizing the colorCONTROL MFA up to 100 measurement points can be monitored simultaniously.
